TicketSmarter WAC Women's Swimming and Diving Athletes of the Week Announced

DENVER – Idaho's Zoe Froh has been named TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week for Jan. 12 through 16.

Froh, a sophomore from Burnaby, Canada, led the Vandals with two individual wins over Simon Fraser, Saturday through Sunday. She won the 400 individual medley with a time of 4:29.94, 13th fastest in the WAC this season. She then came back and won the 1000 freestyle with a WAC top-10 time of 10:29.06. She finished third in the 500 freestyle (5:12.94).

Other swimmer nominee: California Baptist's Giulia Decataldo won the 1000 freestyle (10:31.50) and finished second in the 500 freestyle (5:08.52) as the Lancers' fall to Santa Barbara, Saturday … Grand Canyon's Aleksandra Wegrzynowska went four for four winning the 200 freestyle (1:52.99), 500 freestyle (5:11.78), 200 butterfly (2:06.37) and the 400 medley relay (3:59.59) at the Lopes' win over Concordia, Saturday.
