NM STATE MOVES INTO FIRST PLACE IN CONFERENCE STANDINGS
NM State took over the number one spot in the conference standings after back-to-back shutout victories over Tarleton and Abilene Christian. Makenna Gottschalk had seven saves last week accounting for her sixth shutout of the season and third in conference play.

UTAH VALLEY ON TWO-GAME WINNING STREAK
Utah Valley enters week three of conference play tied for the third spot in the conference standings after victories over California Baptist and Grand Canyon last week. Faith Webber recorded a hat trick during the contest against California Baptist, scoring her goals during the second half of play. Against Grand Canyon, Webber tied the game to start the comeback as the Wolverines took the 2-1 decision.

SEATTLE U DOWNS GRAND CANYON
Seattle U moved to 2-1-1 in conference play with an overall record of 5-5-2 and a .500 winning percentage for the season. The Redhawks captured a 1-0 victory over Grand Canyon in their previous contest. It was the sixth time this season that Seattle U has shut out its opponent.

SEVEN CONFERENCE TEAMS ABOVE .500 IN WAC PLAY
NM State sits in first place with a .667 winning percentage and 11 points, while Southern Utah, Utah Tech and Utah Valley are all tied at .875 with matching 3-0-1 records and 10 points. Seattle U sits in fifth position with a .625 percentage (seven points) followed by California Baptist in seventh with a .667 percentage (six points). Stephen F. Austin rounds out the seven teams by sitting in eighth place with a .500 winning percentage (six points).
