2022 NCAA DI Men's Soccer Bracket

ARLINGTON, Texas – California Baptist, the winner of the 2022 Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Soccer Tournament, officially received the conference’s automatic bid into the NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer Championship on Monday.

The Lancers were placed in the top right quadrant of the bracket and will face UCLA in the first round on Nov. 17 at 5 p.m. (PT) in Los Angeles. No. 6 national seed Clemson awaits the winner in the second round after earning an opening round bye as one of 16 national seeds.

CBU (10-6-4) is set to make its first appearance in the NCAA Championship after capturing the WAC tournament title in a shootout following a scoreless draw against San José State on Sunday in the conference final. WAC programs have advanced in nine prior NCAA Men’s Soccer Championships, with Fresno State (1996), SMU (1997), Seattle U (2015) and Air Force (2018) reaching the third round of national tournament play.
