ARLINGTON, Texas – Utah Tech’s Macie Warren was named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week and Stephen F. Austin’s Jordan Harrison was named TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference Freshman of the Week, for the competition week ending on Dec. 12.
Warren, a sophomore guard, scored a career high of 29 points in Utah Tech's 73-70 road win over Air Force. Warren went 12-16 from the field and 3-5 from the three-point line. Warren also led the Trailblazers with eight rebounds.
Harrison, a guard, scored 15 points in the Ladyjacks win over Arizona State. She shot 6-10 (.600) from the field, 2-3 (.667) from three-point range, and 1-1 from the free throw line. Harrison also recorded three assists, three steals, one block and one rebound in Sunday's game.
