AFA's Zhang Invited to the 2022 NCAA Division I Men's Swimming and Diving Championships
INDIANAPOLIS — The NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Committee announced the swimmers qualfied for the 2022 NCAA Division I Men's Swimming and Diving Championships qualifiers, Wednesday. Air Force's Wen Zhang seeded to race in three events.
Zhang was named this year's WAC Swimmer of the Year after winning three individual titles and setting two new WAC records at the 2022 WAC Swimming and Diving Championships in February. He is invited to the 2022 NCAA Division I Men's Swimming and Diving Championships in the 200 freestyle where he is seeded eighth with a time of 1:32.21. He is also eligible to race in the 500 freestyle (4:16.15) and the 100 freestyle (42.97).
The championships will be hosted by Georgia Tech at Atlanta, Ga., March 23 to 26.
