WAC Golfers Conclude Play at NCAA Regionals
STOCKTON, Calif. - Facing strong competition over the last three days, Abilene Christian concluded the 2022 NCAA Stockton Regional in 10th place, shooting a 2-under-par 862.
The Wildcats were led by Alex Clouse, who used a 3-under-par 69 to tie for 27th with a 2-under-par 214. Logan Diomede tied for 34th overall with a 1-under-par 215 while Francisco Osio shot an even-par 216 to tie for 39th. Seattle U's Nathan Cogswell, who earned an individual invitation after winning the 2022 WAC Championship, took 72nd overall with a 16-over-par 232.
The WAC also had a pair competing in the NCAA Bryan Region at Tradition GC in Bryan, Texas. Sam Houston's Chad Sewell led the way, shooting a 2-over-par 218 to tie for 20th. NM State's Aidan Thomas also competed, tying for 36th with a 5-over-par 221.
