THUNDERBIRDS AND TRAILBLAZERS TOP OF CONFERENCE RANKINGS
After one week of conference play Southern Utah and Utah Tech are the top teams in the Western Athletic Conference with six points respectively. Entering the season Southern Utah was picked to finish 11th in the conference receiving 25 voting points while Utah Tech was picked eighth with 46 voting points. The Thunderbirds and Trailblazers both look to make a splash in the WAC.  

UTAH TECH ON SIX-GAME WINNING STREAK
Utah Tech women’s soccer is on a six-game winning streak  not allowing a single goal in 572 consecutive minutes. Utah Tech leads the league in shutouts and is tied for first in opponents goals allowed.  

GRAND CANYON'S GOURLEY HEADS OFFENSIVE STAT LINES
Heading into week two of Western Athletic Conference play Gianna Gourley holds the top spot in numerous offense statistical categories. Gourley leads the league in shots (31), shots per game (3.88), points (13), points per game (1.63), goals per game (.75) and is tied for first in goals (6) across all games played this season. 

CBU'S SCHUMACHER HAS HUGE DEFENSIVE GAME AGAINST GCU
Noa Schumacher had another huge outing with seven saves against Grand Canyon back on Sept. 17, just one shy of her season high of eight against LMU on Sept. 3. Schumacher leads the league in saves per game (5.17) and sits third in save percentage at .816 which landed her as WAC Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.

NINE TEAMS ABOVE .500 WINNING PERCENTAGE
Southern Utah, Utah Tech, Utah Valley, Seattle U, California Baptist, NM State, Abilene Christian, Tarleton and Grand Canyon all have winning percentages over .500. Currently four of the teams are on winning streaks led by Utah Tech at six.
