DENVER – California Baptist’s Bryan Iliohan and Nolan Premack have been named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Soccer Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, for the match week ending on Monday, Sept. 5.
Iliohan, a senior forward, led all players in the WAC with five points last week after scoring two goals and adding an assist for 2-0 CBU. Iliohan scored a pair of goals in a 3-1 win over Gonzaga (Sept. 1), tallying the first score just 2:38 into the match and bagging the ultimate match-winner at 21:40 to complete the brace. Iliohan also received credit for the primary assist on the match-winning goal in the 50th minute of a 2-0 decision against San Diego (Sept. 5).
Premack, a junior goalkeeper, stood tall for CBU in both victories last week. Premack was the winning keeper with one key save against Gonzaga (Sept. 1) and then turned in a fantastic performance with eight saves for a well-earned solo clean sheet against San Diego (Sept. 5).
