ARLINGTON, Texas – UNLV’s Tyler Ware, Grand Canyon’s Clayton Duarte and California Baptist’s Nolan Premack have been named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Soccer Offensive Player, Defensive Player and Goalkeeper of the Week, for the match week ending on Monday, Oct. 9.
 
Ware, a freshman forward, finished a 2-0-0 UNLV week with a goal and two assists for the Rebels. Ware contributed an assist on the winning goal in the 49th minute and added an insurance goal for UNLV three minutes later in a 2-0 conference win against San José State on Oct. 5. Down 1-0 against Air Force in the 83rd minute on Oct. 8, Ware assisted on the equalizer that ultimately led to the winning UNLV goal in the 87th minute and a 2-1 comeback victory.
 
Duarte, a junior defender/midfielder, picked up his second weekly conference honor of the season following steady play for GCU in a 1-0-1 homestand. The Lopes limited No. 17 Seattle U to four shots on goal, including just three over the final 86 plus minutes of match time, in a spirited 1-1 draw in Phoenix on Oct. 5. Duarte later assisted on the opening goal in the ninth minute and scored the winning goal in the 54th minute of a 4-1 victory over UTRGV on Oct. 8.
 
Premack, a senior goalkeeper, registered his third clean sheet in his last four starts for CBU in a 3-0 win at home against UTRGV on Oct. 8. Premack was credited with three saves in the shutout, including two in the second half, to improve to 3-1-1 in goal since making his season debut for the Lancers on Sept. 13.
