ARLINGTON, Texas – Grand Canyon’s Sam Jennings and Reece Robles have been named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Swimmer and Diver of the week, for the competition week ending on Monday, Oct. 9.
 
Jennings, a junior, collected four individual wins at Grand Canyon’s dual meet against Idaho and Simon Fraser. Jennings picked up two wins each in the 100 (48.66, 48.59) and 200 (1:46.43, 1:46.02) back events. He also swam in the 200 medley (x2) and 200 free relay events to earn three first place finishes, which brought his win total to seven.
 
Robles, a senior, posted a first-place finish in the 3-meter dive with a score of 321.75 points. He also secured second place in the 1-meter dive with score of 294.83 points, just behind teammate Isaac Poole, who placed first.
