WEEK 9 NOTES (pdf)

#UACFOOTBALL -- For the first time this season, the full United Athletic Conference (UAC) Football ledger features only head-to-head league battles for Saturday's Week Nine action. 

Abilene Christian (4-3, 2-1 UAC) looks to extend its win streak to three games when the Wildcats head West to meet Southern Utah (2-5, 1-2 UAC) in the opening game of Saturday's slate. The Thunderbirds are in search of their first home victory in UAC competition after suffering closes losses of two and three points in their previous two games at Eccles Coliseum.

North Alabama (3-5, 1-3 UAC) visits No. 20 Austin Peay (5-2, 2-0 UAC) with both squads looking to continue their winning ways. The Govs are the hottest team in the UAC having won five straight while the Lions earned their first conference win last Saturday in dramatic fashion.

Coming off a bye, No. 18 Central Arkansas (5-2, 2-0 UAC) welcomes Tarleton (5-3, 1-2 UAC) for a clash on "The Stripes", as both squad seek their sixth win of the season. The Bears have posted four wins in-a-row and are also undefeated in four games in Conway this season, while the Texans notched the first shutout in UAC history last week with a 42-0 decision over Morehead State.

In the nightcap, EKU (3-4, 2-0 UAC) heads to the "Beehive State" to face Utah Tech (2-5, 1-1 UAC). The Colonels and Trailblazers are both looking to rebound following hard luck losses a week ago.
