ARLINGTON, Texas – Northern Arizona’s Maddy Rey and Victoria Knapp have been named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Swimmer and Diver of the week, for the competition week ending on Monday, Nov. 6.
 
Rey, a senior, finished with the fastest time in three events in the Nov. 4 dual meet with New Mexico. Rey’s 1:53.10 in the 200-yard freestyle is the fourth fastest time in the WAC this season. The other two events that she finished first in, the 100-yard butterfly (56.44) and the 200-IM (2:07.98) were the fifth and seventh fastest times in the WAC this season. NAU would go on to beat New Mexico 183-102.
 
Knapp, a senior, swept both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving competitions. Knapp scored a 285.53 in the 1-meter and a 327.30 in the 3-meter, winning the 3-meter by 12.30 points.
