ARLINGTON, Texas – Fresh off winning the 2023 Hercules Tires Western Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Tournament, Southern Utah received the No. 14 seed in the Greenville One Regional and will collide with No. 3 Notre Dame on March 17 at 2:30 p.m. CST to open the 2023 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Tournament. The game will air on ESPN2. 

The Thunderbirds are making their first ever NCAA Tournament appearance. SUU is in the midst of a 20-win season and its first since the 2013-14 season when SUU finished 23-10 as a member of the Big Sky Conference.
