TicketSmarter WAC Golfers Of The Week Announced
ARLINGTON, Texas – Utah Valley’s Caden Weber and Grand Canyon’s Constanza Guerrero have been named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Golfers of the Week, for the competition week ending on Tuesday, March 14.
Weber, a senior, was the individual medalist representing Utah Valley at the Bash at the Beach on March 13-14 at the Surf Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Weber carded rounds of 66-70-69 to shoot 8-under-par 205 for the one-shot victory on the par-71, 6,705-yard course. Weber paced the field with 16 birdies and was second among all players in par-5 scoring average (4.33, -6).
Guerrero, a junior, was co-medalist of the Jackrabbit Invitational at the Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder Creek, Nevada, helping lead GCU to a seven-shot team win. Guerrero posted rounds of 71-65-74 to share the top spot on the leaderboard at 6-under-par 210, with the second-round 65 the lowest 18-hole score of the tournament. Guerrero’s 14 total birdies and par-5 scoring average (4.42, -7) also paced the field.
