TicketSmarter WAC Golfer Of The Week Announced
ARLINGTON, Texas – Seattle U’s Nathan Cogswell has been named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Golfer of the Week, for the competition week ending on Tuesday, March 28.
Cogswell, a graduate student, claimed outright second place in guiding Seattle U to a second place showing as a team at the UC San Diego Invitational on March 27-28 at Torrey Pines North Golf Course in San Diego, California. Cogswell fashioned rounds of 68-68-66 to shoot 14-under-par 202 on the par-72, 7,258-yard historic layout. Cogswell was one of just three players in the field of 83 to fire three rounds in the 60s and ranked second among all players in total birdies (17), par-4 scoring average (3.87, -4) and par-5 scoring average (4.25, -9).
