TicketSmarter WAC Golfer Of The Week Announced
ARLINGTON, Texas – Tarleton’s Jack Anderson has been named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Golfer of the Week, for the competition week ending on Tuesday, March 7.
Anderson, a junior, captured the solo medalist trophy by two strokes at the Colin Montgomerie Invitational hosted by Houston Christian on March 6-7 at Pecan-Sweetwater Country Club in Sugar Land. Anderson strung together rounds of 68-66-70 to shoot 12-under-par 204 to take the individual title. Anderson led the field with a 3.80 (-6) stroke average on par-4s and added a 2.75 (-3) scoring clip on par-3s at Pecan-Sweetwater CC, tying for the tournament lead with 18 birdies.
