ARLINGTON, Texas – Venues and dates for 2023-24 Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Championships are now official for the upcoming academic year. The championship schedule will begin on October 27 in Abilene for men’s and women's cross country and will close May 21-25 of 2024 with baseball at Hohokam Stadium in Mesa, Arizona.
 
Championship dates and the tournament format for the 2024 Hercules Tires WAC Basketball Tournament will be announced at a later date.
 
Abilene Christian will welcome the cross country championship meet to Zoe Park to kick off the fall, with women’s soccer taking place at California Baptist’s CBU Soccer Stadium on October 29, November 1 and November 4. Men’s soccer returns to UNLV’s Peter Johann Memorial Field on November 5, November 8 and November 11. Volleyball (Nov. 16-18 at Lockhart Arena) and outdoor track & field (May 9-11 at Hal Wing Track & Field) are both set to be hosted in Orem, Utah by Utah Valley. Tennis is scheduled for April 18-20 at HEB Tennis Center at Pendleton Park in Harlingen hosted by UTRGV, and softball returns to Logan Field in Seattle on May 8-11 to highlight the events hosted by member institutions.
