ARLINGTON, Texas – Utah Tech’s Lacy Fox, California Baptist’s Taylor Summit and Grand Canyon’s DeAira Jackson have been named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Soccer Offensive Player, Defensive Player and Goalkeeper of the Week, for the match week ending on Monday, Sept. 18.
 
Fox finished the weekend with three goals, including a game-winner, and eight total shots. Fox started and played 72 minutes against Colorado State on Thursday, scoring two goals within 15 seconds of each other to put Utah Tech ahead, 2-0, in just the 18th minute. Fox scored the game-winner in the 86th minute against Idaho State on Sunday, getting on the end of a Brynlee Rider cross to finish at the near post. She is now up to five goals and 11 total points on the season, both of which lead the team.
 
Summit, a redshirt junior, helped the team to their fourth shutout of the year against San Jose State and battled Sacramento State to a 1-1 draw.

Jackson had 15 saves last week in a 2-1 win over Loyola Marymount and a 3-2 loss to Arkansas. Jackson made a huge save against the Lions on a free kick in the 80^th minute when she leaped high and across her body to bat the ball away from the upper corner. Jackson had five saves against the Lions before recording a season-high 10 saves against the Razorbacks.
