ARLINGTON, Texas – California Baptist’s Khloe Lemon has been named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Basketball Player and Newcomer of the Week, for the game week ending on Sunday, Jan. 21.
 
Lemon, a freshman guard, led all WAC players in scoring last week as she recorded a career-high 28 points in 28 minutes of play and added five rebounds, two assists and two steals on 12-OF-17 shooting from the field in California Baptist’s 93-67 win over Southern Utah. The scoring effort was tied for the third-most in a game by a CBU player this season and tied the freshman single-game scoring record against a Division I opponent, matching teammate Grace Schmidt's effort against Utah Valley during the 2022-23 campaign.
