One word could describe the United Athletic Conference (UAC) Football games in Week 6... WOW!
In a ledger that included just four head-to-head contests, three of the four games were thrilling, down-to-the-wire one-score decisions while the other game featured a conference record scoring output. APSU scored the winning touchdown in the final minutes to secure a road league win at West Georgia to start the day. In the battle between ranked squads, No. 16 Abilene Christian took an early lead at home before holding off a second-half surge by No. 5 Central Arkansas. North Alabama exploded for 60 points, the most ever by a UAC member, in earning its second league win of the year. The day concluded with an overtime battle between No. 14 Tarleton State and Southern Utah, which saw the Texans claim the road win after a missed extra point.
