ARLINGTON, Texas – Utah Valley’s Faith Webber, Haley Funn, and CJ Graham have been named the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Soccer Offensive Player, Defensive Player, and Goalkeeper of the Week, for the match week ending on Monday, Oct. 21.
 
Webber, a senior forward, collected her third offensive player of the week honor as she scored five of Utah Valley’s seven goals on the week and helped the Wolverines clinch the first overall seed in the 2024 WAC Women’s Soccer Tournament and a share of the regular season title. Webber’s stellar week began with her third career hat trick in UVU’s 4-1 win over California Baptist and capped it off with a pair of goals in a 3-0 victory against Grand Canyon to secure Utah Valley’s third consecutive regular season WAC championship. Webber is the only player in UVU history to record three career hat tricks. Webber now leads the nation in shots per game (6.24) and shots on goal per game (3.06) and is also second in the nation in goals (16) and goals per game (0.94).
 
Funn, a redshirt junior defender, anchored the UVU backline to a pair of wins including a shutout win against the only other team left undefeated in conference play, Grand Canyon. Funn played 86 minutes on the back line in UVU’s win over CBU allowing only four shots on goal and played a full 90 minutes in the GCU shutout, leading a defense that allowed only three shots on frame.
 
Graham, a senior goalkeeper, played all 180 minutes in the box for Utah Valley last week and allowed only one goal. Graham recorded three saves against California Baptist and picked up the shutout win and three more saves in the WAC regular season title clinching win over Grand Canyon.
