ARLINGTON, Texas – UNLV’s Kiril Stepanov has been named the University Credit Union Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Swimmer of the week, for the competition week ending on Monday, Oct. 21.
 
Stepanov, a freshman, earned three individual victories in a two-day dual meet win against Simon Fraser. Stepanov claimed wins in the 50-meter freestyle (23.30), 100-meter freestyle (49.86), and 200-meter freestyle (1:49.91). Stepanov was also part of the winning 400-meter medley team (3:35.36) and the 200-meter free relay team (1:32.92).
