CALIFORNIA BAPTIST AND TARLETON STATE CAPTURE POSTSEASON SPOTS
This past week, California Baptist and Tarleton State wrapped up the fourth and fifth spots for the WAC tournament. The Texans locked into the postseason tournament for the first time in the program’s three-year history with a 1-0 win against Southern Utah. The Lancers built a big enough points gap in the conference standings to secure a postseason spot.
FAITH WEBBER NETS THIRD CAREER HAT TRICK
Faith Webber grew her legacy at Utah Valley in the Wolverines’ 4-1 victory over CBU by being the first player in school history to record three career hat tricks. This is Webber’s second three-goal performance against the Lancers (Sept. 2022) and her first since Sept. 2023 when she accomplished the feat against #19 USC. Three of UVU’s 13 hat tricks now solely belong to Webber.
