ARLINGTON, Texas – California Baptist officially received the conference’s automatic bid into the NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer Tournament on Monday after winning its first Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Soccer Tournament.

The Lancers were placed in the top left quadrant of the bracket and will take on #2 UCLA in the first round on Friday, Nov. 15 at 6 p.m. PT at the Wallis Annenberg Stadium in Los Angeles, California. The winner will move on to the second round to face the winner of #7 Virginia Tech and Tennessee.

California Baptist (10-6-3) is set to make its first ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament after securing the WAC tournament title with two comeback wins against the top two seeds in the conference, including a 3-2 victory against Grand Canyon in the WAC championship match.

The NCAA Women’s Soccer National Championship match will be on Monday, Dec. 9 at 6 p.m. CT and will be held at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina.
