ARLINGTON, Texas – UT Arlington’s Brianna Ford, Utah Valley’s Evalyn Chism, and Seattle U’s Katlyn Sipes have been named the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Volleyball Player, Setter, and Libero of the Week, for the match week ending on Monday, Nov. 18.
 
Ford, a graduate outside hitter, concluded the regular season with five WAC Player of the Week awards after leading UT Arlington to an undefeated record of 16-0 in conference play. Ford recorded a double-double in UTA’s victories against Southern Utah (13 kills, 10 digs) and Utah Tech (17 kills, 10 digs). Ford compiled an average of 5.21 points per set and 4.26 kills per set while picking up nine blocks, three assists, and two aces. Ford led the WAC in 2024 in kills per set (4.39) and points per set (5.24).
 
Chism, a sophomore setter, also finished the regular season with five WAC Setter of the Week awards, leading Utah Valley to two sweeps in the final scheduled matches of the year. Chism collected a season-high of assists in a three-set match with 40 against Tarleton State. Chism capped off the regular season with a double-double of 27 assists and 11 digs against Southern Utah. Chism helped the Wolverines accumulate a hitting percentage of .270 over the week and totaled 67 assists (11.17/set), 15 digs, five blocks, and four kills. Chism placed second in the WAC this season in assists per set with 9.96.
 
Sipes, a senior libero, collected her second WAC Libero of the Week honor as she led to Seattle U to 2-0 week in the final matches of the regular season. Sipes collected a season-high of digs in a three-set match with 19 against Utah Tech and registered 14 digs against Tarleton State. Sipes totaled 10 assists on the week including a season-high of six in the win over the Trailblazers. Sipes capped off conference play with 4.21 digs per set which is a WAC third best.
