West Georgia erupted for 88 points against Lincoln (CA) to close out their non-conference ledger. Utah Tech and EKU both produced upset victories over ranked conference foes with the Trailblazers topping No. 9 Central Arkansas for their first win of the season, while the Colonels rallied past No. 7 Tarleton State for a huge road decision. In the Game of the Week, No. 17 Abilene Christian turned back an upset bid by Southern Utah and Austin Peay wrapped up the list of winners by earning a third consecutive league road win at North Alabama.
