ARLINGTON, Texas – Tarleton State’s Mathilde Brogens has been named the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Golfer of the Month, for the tournament month of October.
 
Brogens, a senior, took home the individual title for this year’s edition of The Judson hosted by Southern Miss. Brogens finished the campaign with a final score of 6-under-par (69-68-73=210) and tallied 13 birdies in the tournament. Her finish tied her career-best 54-hole low score. Brogens lifted Tarleton State to a second-place finish in The Judson’s team standings.
 
Brogens led the Texans at The Clash at Boulder Creek with a 17^th place finish and a 4-under-par final score. Brogens carded 71-74-67=212 and turned in 11 birdies, seven coming in the final round.
 
Brogens also helped lead Tarleton State to back-to-back Texan Match Play titles as the Texans defeated Lamar 4-1 and shut out Texas Southern 5-0.
