2024 University Credit Union WAC Men’s Tennis Monthly Awards 
 
ARLINGTON, Texas – UT Arlington’s Andres Medus and Grand Canyon’s doubles team of Brice Patoux and David Wekesa have been named the University Credit Union Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Tennis Players of the Month for October. 
 
Medus demonstrated exceptional skill at the WAC Tennis Invitational, concluding the tournament with a noteworthy victory against Nikita Volonski from Grand Canyon to secure him the men’s singles title. 
 
Patoux and Wekesa, representing the Grand Canyon, successfully secured the men's doubles title at the WAC Tennis Invitational. Their performance throughout the tournament showcased exceptional teamwork and coordination, culminated in a victory in the final match against UT Arlington’s Yazid Lahjomri and Pedro Sasso. 
 
Medus, Patoux, and Wekesa will compete at the ITA Conference Masters from November 7-10 at the Rome Tennis Center in Georgia. This event is one of a number of qualifying locations for the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships.
