ARLINGTON, Texas – Grand Canyon’s Batu Servi and UNLV’s Alex Vazquez has been named the University Credit Union Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Swimmer and Diver of the week, for the competition week ending on Monday, Nov. 4.
 
Servi, a freshman, tallied three top two finishes for Grand Canyon this week including two victories. Servi won the 500 freestyle (4:30.16) and the 1000 freestyle (9:29.23), both times being inside the top three in the WAC. Servi also picked up a second-place finish in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:40.93.
 
Vazquez, a sophomore, dominated the men’s diving events against BYU, placing first in the 1-meter dive (328.43) and on the 3-meter springboard (392.40). Vazquez added a third-place finish in the 3-meter springboard (344.48) against Utah.
