SUNDAY SNAPSHOT RECAP | FCS Playoffs - Round 1

Opening round play for the 2024 FCS Playoffs featured some history for United Athletic Conference (UAC) Football as not only did a league record three teams earn postseason bids but also a pair of squads collected the first playoff wins in conference history. UAC Champion No. 15 Abilene Christian secured the historic first win with a shutout decision over No. 17 Northern Arizona followed by an offensive explosion victory by No. 14 Tarleton State against Drake. No. 22 EKU rounded out the league's action with a hard fought one-score loss at No. 11 Villanova.
