ARLINGTON, Texas – Utah Valley redshirt senior forward Omar Yehya was recognized by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday as a member of the 2024 Academic All-America First Team in Division I men’s soccer.
 
Yehya, boasting a 4.00 GPA as a business major, was named to the All-WAC First Team in 2024 after leading the conference with 12 goals and 27 points across 18 matches played. Yehya also paced the league with 2.83 shots per match and 1.50 points per contest. Yehya finished the season with three multi-goal matches and four match-winning goals.
 
Over two seasons with Utah Valley, Yehya scored 16 goals and added four assists in 33 matches after transferring from Saint Mary’s (Calif.) by way of Cal State Fullerton.
