ARLINGTON, Texas – Grand Canyon’s
Sidney Roberts and Utah Valley’s
Faith Webber were named to the 2024 Academic All-America Second Team in Division I women’s soccer by College Sports Communicators on Wednesday.
Roberts, a redshirt senior defender, boasts a 4.00 GPA while pursuing a graduate degree in health administration. Roberts was named to the 2024 All-WAC First Team for leading a Grand Canyon defense that allowed just six goals during conference play. Roberts played 1,808 of a possible 1,820 minutes for the Lopes this season.
Webber, a senior forward, owns a 3.94 GPA as she works towards a psychology degree. Webber earned the 2024 WAC Offensive Player of the Year award and All-WAC First Team honors after scoring 10 conference goals and leading the nation in total regular season goals with 18. Webber led the Wolverines to their third straight WAC regular season title.
