ARLINGTON, Texas – Northern Arizona’s Cydnie Perkins has been named the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Swimmer the Week, for the competition week ending on Monday, Dec. 9.
 
Perkins, a junior, helped the Northern Arizona women’s swimming team sweep Utah Tech in a dual meet as Perkins tallied two individual victories and one team relay victory. Perkins won the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:18.00 and the 100 breaststroke clocking in at 1:04.35. Perkins collected a pair of runner-up finishes in the 200 IM (2:13.21) and in the 50 breaststroke (29.81). She also helped the NAU A-team win the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:45.51.
