ARLINGTON, Texas – Grand Canyon’s Natasha Puehse and UTRGV’s Isabelle Bahr and Marjorie Souza have been named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Tennis Players of the Week, for the match week ending on Sunday, Feb. 25.
 
Puehse (Gr.) gets the hat trick and picks up her third singles award of the year, her second in the last three weeks. Puehse improved to 10-0 at the number one singles court after a pair of sweeps on the road against North Texas’ Olivia Malm 6-1, 6-2 and Baylor’s Miska Kadleckova 6-2, 6-1. Puehse has won her last seven matches in straight sets.
 
Bahr (Gr.) and Souza (Jr.) took the court together for the first time this season and found success right out of the gate as they defeated Emma Aucagne/Naomi McKenzie of Texas A&M – Corpus Christi 6-4 on the top doubles court, winning their lone match of the week.
