ARLINGTON, Texas – California Baptist’s Chloe Webb and UT Arlington’s Gia Adams has been named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Basketball Player and Newcomer of the Week, for the game week ending on Sunday, Feb. 4.
 
Webb, a senior guard, recorded a 33-point double-double with 10 rebounds against Seattle U on Feb. 3, leading California Baptist to a 86-77 road win. Webb leads the WAC in scoring average with 20.8 points per game. She tallied her sixth double-double of the season and is one of two WAC players with multiple 30-point games.
 
Adams, a junior guard, averaged 13.0 points, 5.5 assists, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.0 steals last week. She recorded 14 points, five rebounds, eight assists and three steals against Southern Utah. Adams then tallied 12 points, four rebounds, three assists and one steal against Utah Tech.
