ARLINGTON, Texas – Stephen F. Austin’s Ksenia Mamontova and Carolina Chiatti have been named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Tennis Players of the Week, for the match week ending on Sunday, Feb. 4.
 
Mamontova, a sophomore, earned WAC singles player of the week for the second time this season for undefeated SFA with wins at the top singles court during a 2-0 week. Mamontova beat UT Tyler’s Muskan Gupta 6-1, 6-4 and swept Grambling State’s Jovana Latinovich 6-1, 6-0.
 
Mamontova and Chiatti, also a sophomore, registered two wins for SFA at the second doubles court. The tandem beat the UT Tyler team of Yelena Kim and Kanika Sivaraman 6-4 and defeated Grambling’s Taku Mawisire and Ekaterina Dziova 6-2.
