ARLINGTON, Texas – Abilene Christian’s Delaney Martin has been named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Golfer of the Week, for the tournament week ending on Tuesday, Feb. 6.
 
Martin, a senior, tied for third at the Texas State Invitational on Feb. 5-6. She had rounds of 69-74-75 for a score of 218. Martin led the Wildcats with nine birdies for the tournament, and her first-round score of 69 was one of only four total rounds in the 60s in the field. Overall, the Wildcats finished second in their first-ever spring women’s golf tournament.
