ARLINGTON, Texas – Abilene Christian’s Ryann Honea has been named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Golfer of the Week, for the tournament week ending on Tuesday, March 12.
 
Honea, a sophomore, won her first collegiate individual title at the Houston Christian Huskies Intercollegiate on Tuesday and led the Wildcats to their first unshared title of the spring season. Honea finished with rounds of 69-73-72 to finish 2-under par at 214. She birdied holes 7, 12 and 13 on her even-par third round and finished the tournament with 12 birdies.
