UT Arlington’s miracle run continued by erasing a double-digit second half deficit to stun Tarleton State late. A made 3-pointer from
Brandyn Talbot with 3.3 seconds remaining wound up being the difference on the scoreboard.
Shemar Wilson led all scorers for UTA with 29 points and three blocked shots.
Phillip Russell added 18 points and 10 assists for the Mavs, and
DaJuan Gordon compiled a 16-point, 11-rebound double-double.
Devon Barnes scored 24 points in the Tarleton State setback.
Jakorie Smith logged 23 points in defeat for the Texans.
