2024 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship Interactive Bracket

ARLINGTON, Texas – One day after winning the 2024 Hercules Tires Western Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament over UT Arlington in the championship title game, Grand Canyon received the No. 12 seed in the West Region and will collide with No. 5 Saint Mary’s (Calif.) in the first round of the 2024 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament on March 22 at Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena in Spokane, Washington. The game is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. PT and will air on TruTV.
 
The Lopes are making their third NCAA tournament appearance at the DI level after previously winning the WAC conference tournament in 2021 and 2023. The 12th seed was the highest tournament placement earned by the Lopes and tied for the best seed of any WAC representative in the men’s NCAA tournament dating back to 2010.
 
GCU has registered the most wins in a season in program history with a 29-4 mark entering the NCAA tournament, which included a 17-3 record in WAC play, and is in search of its first NCAA tournament victory. GCU is one of six current WAC men’s basketball conference members who have made at least one all-time appearance in the NCAA tournament.
 
Historically teams from the WAC have combined to win 67 NCAA tournament games all time, with schools representing the WAC appearing in six Sweet 16s.
