ARLINGTON, Texas – Grand Canyon’s Germain Lemaitre and Ben Moffett have been named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week, for the meet week ending on Sunday, Mar. 17.
 
Lemaitre (So.) won the Arizona Spring Break Fiesta’s 800m with a time of 1:50.94, putting him first in the WAC by more than a second. Lemaitre’s 800m time also ranks third in the West Region and 14^th in the nation.

Moffett (So.) moved to the top of the conference rankings in the javelin throw after throwing a mark of 67.26m (220-8.00) in the Arizona Spring Break Fiesta. Moffett’s mark currently sits fourth in the West Region and 16^th in the country.
