CBU REMAINS AT THE FRONT OF THE PACK
Thanks to a 2-1 showing in a weekend series at Tarleton State, California Baptist maintained its hold on the top spot in the WAC standings at 5-1 (.833) in league games. The Lancers ran their overall winning streak to three games with a walkoff nonconference win against CSUN on March 25. Grand Canyon remained second in the standings with a 7-2 (.778) record, followed closely by Abilene Christian and UT Arlington at 6-3 and Utah Valley at 4-2 (.667).
CBU’S DUMESNIL KEEPS HOT WEEKEND ROLLING INTO WIN OVER CSUN

Nicholas Dumesnil was named WAC Player of the Week after batting .467 with three home runs, five RBI and seven runs scored last week for the Lancers in a stretch that included a series win at Tarleton State. Dumesnil came up clutch once again in a Monday night showdown with CSUN, completing a CBU comeback with a walkoff two-out single in the bottom of the ninth to send the Lancers to a 3-2 victory.
LANMAN FITTING IN WELL AT ACU

Brett Lanman tossed a second consecutive quality start to claim WAC Pitcher of the Week following a 3-0 Sunday ACU victory over Sacramento State last weekend. Lanman went seven full innings allowing two hits and three walks with seven strikeouts to improve to 4-1 in his debut season.
UTAH VALLEY FINDING ITS GROOVE WITH 5 STRAIGHT WINS
Entering play on March 28 at Abilene Christian, Utah Valley carries a five-game winning streak into its next WAC series. The Wolverines have scored six or more runs in each of their past five victories, batting .345 as a team with 15 home runs during the streak.
