ARLINGTON, Texas – Abilene Christian’s Ryann Honea has been named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Golfer of the Week, for the tournament week ending on Wednesday, March 27.
 
Honea, a sophomore, won the Lipscomb Lady Bison Classic after shooting par or better on every hole in the first round, winning her second consecutive tournament after placing first at the Houston Christian Huskies Classic. She birdied holes 15 and 18 and parred every other green for the day for a 2-under round and a 2-under-par finish. Honea finished this weekend with par on 44 holes and needed just six birdies to get the win. Honea went 71-73-70 for 214.
