ARLINGTON, Texas –  Abilene Christian’s Daniel Morozov and UT Arlington’s Andres Medus and Dante Teramo have been named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Tennis Players of the Week, for the match week ending on Sunday, Apr. 14.
 
Morozov, a junior, defeated UTRGV’s Emilien Burnel in straight sets (6-2, 3-6, 6-3) at number one singles to hand Burnel his first conference loss of the season on Apr. 14.
 
Medus, a freshman, and Teramo, a sophomore, earned a victory at number three doubles defeating Seattle U’s Dario Ristovski and Filip Stipic 6-2. The win gives the pair their third win of the season as they remain undefeated and assisted the Mavs to claim their second consecutive WAC Regular Season Title. Overall, Medus and Teramo sit at 3-0 on the season and in WAC play.
