ARLINGTON, Texas – California Baptist’s Greta Karinauskaite and Utah Valley’s Kelsi Oldroyd have been named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week, for the meet week ending on Sunday, April 14.
 
Karinauskaite, a senior, placed sixth in a competitive women’s 3000-meter steeplechase field at the Bryan Clay Invitational on April 11-13 in Azusa, California. Karinauskaite crossed the finish line with a time of 9:37.31, the second-fastest time in NCAA Division I thus far this season as of April 17.
 
Oldroyd, a junior, secured a third-place finish in the women’s javelin event at the 2024 Beach Invitational on April 12-13 in Long Beach, California. Oldroyd’s first round attempt of 52.13m (171-0) led the WAC and ranked 20th in the nation as of April 17.
