ARLINGTON, Texas – Utah Valley’s Faith Webber, California Baptist’s Summer Allen, and Grand Canyon’s DeAira Jackson have been named the Jersey Mike’s Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Soccer Offensive Player, Defensive Player, and Goalkeeper of the Week, for the match week ending on Monday, Aug. 19.
 
Webber, a senior forward, led Utah Valley to a 2-0 weekend and scored three goals for the Wolverines, including a thrilling game-winner in the 89^th minute against Michigan. On the road-trip back to her home state, Webber scored both goals in the exhilarating 2-1 win over Michigan and tallied another goal and an assist in a 5-2 victory against Detroit Mercy. Her seven points scored from the weekend ranks her fifth in the country.

Allen, a junior defender, anchored the Lancer back line on the weekend and played a big defensive role in their shutout victory against CSUN. Allen also helped limit #23 USC to just one goal and made a crucial goal-line save in the second half to keep the Lancers in the match.
 
Jackson, a senior goalkeeper, allowed just one goal in the Lopes’ opening weekend. Jackson held a talented Arizona squad to a single goal and made seven saves in the match. She followed that performance with her first shutout of the year in a 3-0 win against Charleston Southern. Jackson played all 180 minutes and accumulated a .900 save percentage.
