ARLINGTON, Texas – California Baptist University’s Zouhair Redouane and Ava Dyck have been selected as the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Cross Country Athletes of the Week for the meet week ending on Saturday, Sept. 21. This recognition follows their performance at the UC Riverside Invitational.

Redouane, a freshman, continued his standout season by securing his second individual win at the UCR Invitational, finishing the men's 8K race with a time of 23:33.0 and an average mile pace of 4:44.2. His performance helped lead the CBU men to their second consecutive team victory of the season.
 
For the women, freshman Ava Dyck made an impressive collegiate debut, finishing 5th in the women’s 6K race with a time of 20:09.2 and an average mile pace of 5:24.3. Dyck was the first runner across the line for CBU, contributing to a strong team performance that saw the Lancers claim a third-place finish.
