SEATTLE U LEADS WAC STANDINGS HEADING INTO CONFERENCE MATCHUPS
As the non-conference slate concludes, Seattle U continues to hold onto the WAC standings lead with a record of 5-2-3. The Redhawks were riding on an eight-game unbeaten streak before suffering an 0-1 loss at Portland State on Sunday.

FAITH WEBBER FIRST IN THE NATION IN SHOTS
Utah Valley’s Faith Webber has been shooting her shot on the pitch all year this season as she leads the country in shots (71) and shots per game (6.45). Webber has been making the most of her shots as she also is second in the nation in shots on goal (33) and third in shots on goal per game (3.00). Webber continues to lead the WAC in points (18) and goals (8) as well.

UTAH VALLEY’S HOT STREAK
Utah Valley will enter conference play as the hottest team in the league as they’re currently on a three-game winning streak and have won four of their last five matches. The Wolverines have outscored their opponents 12-2 during this streak and have swept this week’s Player of the Week awards.

THURSDAY BRACES
Last Thursday, the WAC saw three players score two goals each. Whitney Gardner led Southern Utah to victory with a brace against Sacramento State. Seattle U’s Caroline Penner held Idaho State to a draw with her two goals and now has six goals in the last four matches. Nixan Jackson recorded a brace in part of Utah Valley’s 5-0 win against Weber State.

ABILENE CHRISTIAN DRAWS WAC RECORD
With their 1-1 draw against UTSA, Abilene Christian has tied the WAC record of six draws in a season, last set by California Baptist in 2023. Out of their ten games played so far, five of their matches have ended in scoreless 0-0 draws.
