ARLINGTON, Texas – California Baptist’s Kaylee Hauck, Grand Canyon’s Sidney Roberts, and Seattle U’s Kassidy Kirgan have been named the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Soccer Offensive Player, Defensive Player, and Goalkeeper of the Week, for the match week ending on Monday, Sept. 2.
 
Hauck, a junior forward, scored her first two goals of the season in a 2-0 weekend for California Baptist. Hauck found the back of the net early on against San Jose State and was able to fire off four shots on goal in the match. Hauck then provided the game-winning goal against UC San Diego with a strike to the bottom right of the net in the 66^th minute, giving the Lancers their first road win of the season.
 
Roberts, a redshirt senior, played all 180 minutes in Grand Canyon’s two shutout victories. Roberts and the Lopes defense allowed just two shots on goal in total this weekend to the previously undefeated teams of North Dakota State and Air Force. Roberts was named to the Outrigger No Ka Oi All-Tournament Team in the tournament hosted by Hawaii.
 
Kirgan, a sophomore goalkeeper, recorded her first two clean sheets of 2024 with wins against UNLV and Fresno State, giving Seattle U their first road wins of the season. Kirgan tallied nine saves in the week, five against UNLV and four versus Fresno State. Kirgan now leads the WAC with 4.60 saves per game.
