ARLINGTON, Texas – Abilene Christian’s Daniel Morozov and the Grand Canyon doubles team of Diordan Macababbad and Andreas Loizas have been named the University Credit Union Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Tennis Players of the Week for the week ending on Sunday, Jan. 26.

Morozov, a senior, earned Men’s Singles Player of the Week honors for his impressive performance at No. 1 singles. He secured a 6-3, 6-4 victory and also contributed in doubles with a 6-4 win, helping lead Abilene Christian to a dominant 6-1 team victory.
Grand Canyon’s freshmen duo, Macababbad and Loizas, claimed Men’s Doubles Players of the Week recognition with a commanding 6-0 sweep at No. 1 doubles. Macababbad also made his debut in singles, earning his first collegiate victory.
